In a Letter
from Boris' Mom...
Dear
Nancy,
If Boris were not already named, we would call him
"Bullet." He is beyond speedy! By the time I get out the door and put my skids
on, he has flown off the porch and is waiting at the piggy pen door for his meal!
Desiree’ was fast, and used to chase Mike around the house; but Boris has the record
! He is too funny!
Nothing like a pair of piggies to put a smile on your face.
There should be a program to take small piggers to hospitals, rest homes,
and handicapped schools like dogs and cats are taken now.
These little hamlets will bring smiles and love to be rubbed.
Whenever I was stressed after we got Desiree’, Mike would say
"We just need to get you home so you can "touch the pig". I would always
feel better. Very therapeutic!
Anyway, Boris is well. Picking up has not been accomplished as all
tentative attempts have been met with objections. He had to be scooped out of harms way
once and he was not pleased! But he has recooped. He loves laps (especially Mike’s as
he prefers to lay on my neck), and Desiree’s big pillow. He steals a snooze there
when she is outside!
He also loves the piggy pool!
He looked like a fish swimmin’ around in there and playing around day
before yesterday. If the photo comes out I’ll send you a copy. Take care and I’m
sure you’ll be sending updates and/or photos periodically!
